Hebard Collection

Overview:

The Grace Raymond Hebard Collection is the Wyoming research library at the University of Wyoming. The Hebard Collection is a comprehensive library of Wyoming print materials including books, maps, state and federal documents and ephemera. The Collection serves as the library of record for University of Wyoming publications and retains the archival copy of all University of Wyoming theses and dissertations.

All books and periodicals in the Collection are cataloged and can be searched in the UW Library Catalog.

Partial support of purchases for the Hebard Collection comes from the friends of the University Libraries and two endowments.

Emmett D. Chisum Endowment
Emmett D. Chisum, Emeritus Library Professor, is recognized by the American Association for State and Local History for his research and writing on Wyoming history. Contributions to the Emmett D. Chisum Endowment will enrich the UW Libraries for all those who love a life of learning and service to others.

Emil Massa Historical Map Endowment This endowment, established by Mr. Emil Massa, provides income to purchase historic maps for the University of Wyoming Libraries.
