Wyoming Biography Database

This database serves as an index to books that contain biographical profiles of Wyoming people. Currently, there are 13,150 entries from 38 books (most of these books are available through the interlibrary loan service of your local library). The late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries are best represented although there are some contemporary figures. If you find the person you are after and have any interest at all in the associated family, I highly recommend looking at the original sketch. Many are rich in details about both the ancestors and children of the subject. Often the article also includes narrative about the spouse's family.

I have included brief information for the subject of each profile: 1) date of birth; 2) birthplace; 3) parents' names; 4) marriage date; 5) spouse's name; 6) date of death; 7) place of death; 8) citation for the book, volume and page which contains the sketch.
