How do I get books and articles from the library?
- A UWYO domain username and password is required to access library resources from off-campus. See Username and Password below.
- If a book or article is not available in full-text, then use Interlibrary
Loan to request the item.
- The first time you make a request you will need to register to identify
yourself to the library system. To do this, fill out the registration
form on the interlibrary loan form page.
- Materials are sent free of charge. You are expected to pay the return postage on books. Articles do not need to be returned.
- If the item is available at UW Libraries it will be sent within 24 hours.
- If the item has to be borrowed from another library it may take 2-3 weeks. Articles are received more quickly than books.

from the due date; and items with a less than 28 day checkout will be
